A poem I wrote for the funeral but never used

Our baby Leo.

I loved you Leo from the start,

I will carry you forever in my heart.

My arms are empty and sad,

I can't stop picturing the life we never had.

You filled my future full of love and hope,

Without you here how will I cope?

One thing I promise you; I would do this all again,

Just to see your beautiful face I would go threw all this pain.

Your memory will live on, see we are all a part of you,

Our little baby Leo who I wish we'd shared and knew.

There is love in every tear that's shed,

Now it's time to rest your little head.

Sleep peacefully baby Leo,
